This Level 2 course follows on from Manage your Stress and Overthinking Level 1, which ran as a 10 week course. It will give you the best tools and techniques to continue to cultivate your inner calm as you meet the challenges of 2024. Let us get 2024 off to a flying start.

Who is this course suitable for:-
1. Those who attended the first courses in 2022 and 2023 that Sheila ran on a weekly basis.
2. Anyone who has taken a previous 6 week Mindfulness course with Sheila online, perhaps during Covid (at the Guild) or a face to face course at The Guild or elsewhere.
3. People who have studied mindfulness with Sheila and would like to gain some new knowledge and practices.
You will enjoy this course if you would like to continue to learn new skills and embed these strategies and practices into your lifestyle. You will meet like-minded people and make new friendships and acquaintances.
Embedded in the course are techniques from Positive Psychology, Neural Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Mindfulness. Sheila will demonstrate how you can train your mind to handle the difficulties in life and importantly learn to savour the good things in life too. Leading you to feel happier and more fulfilled. The day will also include some relaxation techniques so that you will feel calmer, less stressed and have a more positive mindset.
How do we do this?
During each Saturday you will learn new practices which will help you to achieve this. You will be shown how all the activities you undertake are scientifically proven to lead you to a positive mindset, resulting in less stress depression and negative thinking. Which will in turn raise your level of happiness.
This course is NOT Therapy or Counselling? This course is about training your mind to improve your overall well-being. We learn how to improve our lives we will not be lingering in our difficulties.
Each Saturday you will be given tasks and activities to take away with you to help you to achieve this. You will feel calmer and more positive about your life.
You will not be required to take notes just come to the session, enjoy meeting others and taking part.
This course will be delivered at The Guild. The sessions will be fun and interactive. 10am-4pm
