Course synopsis

This is quite possibly one of the most
therapeutic and satisfying techniques with guaranteed laughter all day. This masterclass will introduce you to recycling
your old oddments of jewellery or your work that has gone a little wrong or has
become dated and stuck in the jewellery box becoming tarnished. You will learn how to identify and test
metals and stones before we recycle into something new to make sure it’s
workable. A wonderful opportunity to remodel
sentimental heirlooms hiding in a drawer.
We will concentrate on how to mass produce granulations of metal and how
to apply these to your work, adding textural depth and a splash of colour from
gold to oxidising.
