English Elementary (A2) For Speakers Of Other Languages

This course is suitable for learners who are comfortable with basic English and already know the present simple and present continuous tenses. You will learn English grammar at elementary level and study the past and future tenses. You will continue to improve your ability to communicate in everyday situations with new and useful vocabulary.

You will work with a small group of learners at the same level and we will use a course book to improve skills in reading, listening, writing and speaking. There will be a small charge for the course book.

Over the year we will have three terms. You will register for each term separately. Each lesson lasts two hours and you will attend classes once a week on a Monday morning.

Assessment: There is classroom testing at the end of each term. A pass will lead to a certificate confirming your attainment level.

There is a £40 fee for the course book payable at the Guild once you have started your course. You are welcome to source your own course book.
