Course synopsis
Description: This course is suitable for learners with a very good knowledge and understanding of English grammar. You will already know the simple, continuous and perfect tenses (past, present and future) and be confident with irregular verbs.
You will learn more advanced grammar structures including the passive voice and your vocabulary will be developed so you can use more complex language in a range of situations.
You will work with a small group of learners at the same level and we will use a course book to improve skills in reading, listening, writing and speaking.
Over the year we will have three terms. You will register for each term separately. Each lesson lasts two hours and you will attend classes once a week on a Monday morning.
Assessment: There is classroom testing at the end of each term. A pass will lead to a certificate confirming your attainment level.
Next course begins, autumn term Monday 8 January 2024
There is a £40 fee for the course book payable at the Guild once you have started your course (or you can source your own copy)
