WHAT’S THAT BIRD? Interested in birdwatching but don’t know where to start? Do you want to know how to identify and recognise birds or perhaps you are interested in developing birdwatching into a fascinating, absorbing, hobby If yes, this free event is just for you.
The Guild’s Birdwatching Group are running an event designed as an introduction to Birdwatching on Saturday 18th April at the Guild.
The first part will be a 2 hour classroom based introduction to the basics, followed by a half day Field based event, both led by Phil Hampson. With many years’ experience, and co-producer of the County Annual Bird Report, Phil is well qualified to act as your guide.
The Guild Birdwatching Group is also offering event participants the chance to join them for their two end-of-season coach and two car field trips. You will be made most welcome, and Phil will accompany you.
To book your place online visit guilslifelonglearning.org (events), or if you want more information contact info@guildlifelonglearning.org.
Numbers on the field trips will be limited to twelve participants on a first come basis.
