Jewellery Day With Hannah 15 November

Jewellery Day – Sun 15th Nov

10am – 4pm 

Winter Wonderland – Come along and make jewellery in our superb, well equipped and friendly workshop lead by Hannah with many decades of
experience. 

Beginners are welcomed to this jewellery making day with
Hannah in Wilmslow, Cheshire.  It is the perfect opportunity to see if a
new hobby is for you.  Come alone (it’s a
little daunting stepping out of your comfort zone but after a few moments and a
welcome coffee you will soon feel at home) or bring a friend or relative to
have a creative day together. 

If you’re a proficient metalsmith you might choose to
immerse yourself for a full day using all our wonderful tools and
facilities.  Set yourself a task of
learning something new or just continue from where you left off.

Make jewellery of your choice guided by Hannah.  Use
texture, foldforming, and gemstones to add a splash of colour to your
jewellery.  Bring along foraged leaf skeletons from winter walks, sea
glass from your holiday, something special for a birthday or choose from the
array on offer at the Guild, the list is endless.  Hannah will demonstrate
a variety of skills, textures and setting styles, however the day will be led
by your experience, design ideas and chosen gemstones.  If you have a
particular request DM to discuss.   

Tools & Materials:  The workshop is very well
equipped with machines and hand tools for you to use.  You don’t have to
be crafty as we have templates, tools, machines and vision aids to make life
easier for less nimble fingers.  Materials and consumables to suit all
budgets are available to purchase in class or you can bring your own. 
There's a huge array of gemstones to peruse.   Recycling and melting
old jewellery is mesmerising.

What to wear & bring:  Closed toes shoes, hair tied
back, apron, notebook, fine sharpie, pen.

We can accommodate 14 years upwards however please send a
WhatsApp to Hannah to discuss before booking to make sure the
class is suitable.
