From Kiln to Community: Making Ceramics Accessible to All

Our ceramics studio is more than just a place to make pottery—it’s a vibrant community where students support one another and grow together. Inspired by their passion, our talented students have been selling their handcrafted work in the Gallery@theGuild to help fund an essential new tool: a professional Slab Roller.

Why a Slab Roller?
To help our learners reach their full potential, we want to provide tools that match their ambition. This equipment allows for larger, more intricate designs, but its most important role is accessibility.

Supporting Every Hand
Working with clay can be physically demanding on hands, wrists, and shoulders. A slab roller takes away the heavy lifting, making the craft gentler and more inclusive for artists of all physical abilities. By protecting the hand health of our makers, we ensure that pottery remains a joyful, lifelong pursuit for everyone.
