We’re back—and bigger than ever! Join us on Saturday, 5th July 2025, for an unforgettable celebration of storytelling, creativity, and the written word.

This year’s festival is packed with exciting events, including:

- Author talks, readings  & interviews – Meet and chat with published writers across a wide range of genres:

Chris McDonald (the path to publication)

Rosanna McGlone (historical fiction)

Adam Farrer (creative non fiction)

Emma Jane Barlow (poetry)

- Writing workshop: Poetry Surgery with Rosanna McGlone

- Theatre workshops for children throughout the day – Spark young imaginations with interactive storytelling and performance

- Live performances & readings – Experience stories brought to life on stage, including pieces written by the creative writing students at the Guild, performed by talented local actors. 

- Exhibitors - Includes Emma Jane Barlow, Marie Cope, Jan Foster, Edward Rodriguez, Anna Rains, Cipher Press, Mentell, Julie Conrad. Watch this list for more additions! All our exhibitors will be offering books for sale, many at special festival prices. Come and grab a bargain, chat to the author and get your book signed all at the same time!

With delicious refreshments available throughout the day and a bar service for evening performances, the festival offers something for everyone—whether you're a passionate writer, an avid reader, or simply love a great story.
